The rite is frequently celebrated in several countries in the Americas, including Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. It is frequently requested by Hispanic Catholics in the dioceses of the United States of America."

Look at that first sentence: "a celebration of life and gratitude to God." What more can we say about this important celebration than the fact that it is a way to say thank you to God for life itself?

La familia suele solicitar una misa o una bendición que se realiza en el Iglesia. El rito se celebra frecuentemente en varios países de América, incluyendo México, Centro y Sudamérica y el Caribe. Es frecuentemente solicitado por los católicos hispanos en las diócesis de los Estados Unidos de América."

Mire esa primera frase: "una celebración de la vida y gratitud a Dios". ¿Qué más podemos decir sobre esta importante celebración que el hecho de que es una manera de agradecer a Dios por la vida misma?
